If anything, I’m sure they will hold off on leaving the 3DS behind, until they are sure that the Switch will be popular enough to take that spot over, but I’m pretty sure that the ultimate goal for them is to have the Switch be the only place to get their games. Shortly after Iwata died, Nintendo started a restructure

I think the reason they would want to get people to move on from their 3DSs is because, with the Switch, they have tied the success of the two parts of their business together. They have created a machine that is for better or worse, the only place you can get Nintendo’s games (I mean their real games, none of their

The Gameboy/DS market is an interesting thing for them. It has basically been their bread and butter, and the basic format of the Switch breaks with what has been so successful for them. If every game has to be able to be played in tablet and docked modes, then the chances that any games are made that excel at being

I learned long ago that voting has little to do with excitement or perfect match so much as making sure the biggest asshole doesn’t get into office.

You made great points. The guitar hero peripherals are something I forgot about! That was about the only one besides light gun that was popular.

I’m sorry but if you can’t tell someone hitting another person their values, because you’re too scared that your being white might get you called out, than you’ve lost your moral and intellectual credibility.

Is it an action figure if it doesn’t even have articulations?

well, to reiterate most speculation is that it will still not be 4k for games. it takes way too much GPU to still come in at a console friendly price — even if they are already positioning it as the “premium” ps4 we’re talking $800 just for the graphics card tech. the language was vague on the sony press release but

just to add on to what you are saying, nintendo has possibly the least exciting e3 lineup of any of the “big 3" — think about that, it really drives our point home.

14 million. The number of people duped into buying Battlefront, myself included.

LOL I think given the way Marvel’s printing money, most companies would rather be in Marvel’s position.

I think what they’re referring to is, for example, how 50+ years of Batman have created this “canon” that Batman doesn’t kill, even if he totally killed people in TDK and other issues. Thus, people get mad at the Zack Synder Murderverse for making Batman an Arkham Asylum-style Punisher, because that’s “not Batman”

Execution, my dear friend.

These representations of these characters might not be the ones that fans want, but they are certainly ones that have been expressed in comics like The Dark Knight Returns, All-Star Batman and Robin, Superman: Peace on Earth, Red Son, and many other works like them. In the vast plurality of DC Comics there are many

A: I think you’re short-selling “the Marvel Method” rather a lot (you’re also vastly over-simplifying it. The first Iron Man followed the character beats of Spider-Man pretty closely, but none of the other Marvel movies really did, save in the most general sense that 2/3 of all “hero’s journey” sorts of tales do).

BvS is what happens when someone who obviously dislikes the concept of superheroes is given free reign to put to film his fanfic based on two popular DC comics storylines while simultaneously being required to forge a DC movie universe.

I believe that a lot of those bad feelings are coming from a mismeasure of fans expectations of superhero films versus the kind of story that Zack Snyder is interested in telling.

Snyder murdered Jimmy Olson as a “easter egg” for the “fans.” If that’s dark and gritty, I’ll gladly chuck it aside for the comical and goofy teams like the Guardians of the Galaxy. I don’t want to watch a snuff film of my beloved characters.

My big problem is not that these representations of these characters are bad per se; but that they are not the ones that really should part of their main canon. They would make a great sorta “Elseworld” telling after we have a number of movies under our belt. It actually felt like a better setup for something like

You could always just put your smaller Ant-Man in the microwave. Won’t grow, but will give you something else to worry about.
