Maybe I’m wrong here but is asking for a smooth frame rate and hi-def graphics too much now?

I don’t buy that there is a huge amount of the audience that loves this movies. I think at best half of the viewing public likes BvS but I feel like its probably less. The interesting thing to note is sites like Rotten Tomatoes that allow you to put how interested you are to see the movie. RT is not converting that…
Yes, thank you.
These representations of these characters might not be the ones that fans want, but they are certainly ones that have been expressed in comics like The Dark Knight Returns, All-Star Batman and Robin, Superman: Peace on Earth, Red Son, and many other works like them. In the vast plurality of DC Comics there are many…
My brother when he was about 13 years old had a blackhead on his stomach. It was about two inches in diameter. Between himself and our Mom they got it out and it only bled a bit because it was pretty deep in his stomach.....the blackhead was about five inches long and came out looking like black toothpaste from a…
The problem I have with the term Millennial is that its covering nearly 35 years worth of people now. Gen X covered 20-ish years and even that I feel is too long. The problem with the term Millennial is that it has come to describe young people joining the work force who are lazy, unprepared for life, entitled and…
Millennial I think became a catch all term for anyone born after 1980. In fact reading up on this I found that the term has no clearly defined end because I literally thought a millennial was someone who was born between 95 and 2000 who would just be going out into the workforce around 2012 to 2015 instead of someone…
I hate this. Universal is not the same. I remember BTTF, ET, Jaws, King Kong. Now none of those are there in the same capacity. I get updating the rides for the advent of new technology but its sad to not have a ride based on BTTF.
A second job with a fake name? No real “identifiers” and clashes with Nintendo’s culture....the plot thickens.
Can someone honestly explain to me why these damn Religious Freedom bills keep popping up? I know they disappointingly affect the LGBT and allow open discrimination but I (possibly naively) refuse to believe that states keep creating them just to stick to LGBT. That has to be some reason why these freaking bills keep…
So flipping happy I live in the Triangle (Raleigh, Cary, Durham). But yeah we still have to deal with a small but vocal Pro-Trump, anti-Islam, anti-LGBT population. Its small but its there.
So I’m going to say that all of that would be really interesting but we need to see where tech takes of before we get to jacking-in to a virtual world. But I actually see how VR could be an early precursor to that but I agree the risks would be HUGE.
Well motion tracking, 3D and many other technologies that were going to be the next big thing in gaming or even home entertainment have found uses in other fields but still failed in gaming. That is what I really think will happen in at least the short term. With that said I do think it will be interesting to see what…
There is one very big difference between the military, Sky broadcasting, museums, and amusement parks using VR/AR than a consumer buying it for gaming and that is price and content. Only Sony is offering VR for the PS4, which a piece of equipment a large amount of people might already have...at a price that the…
I agree with you that they are now cogs but before they were the wheel. And that wheel did not roll very far before something else “became the next big thing” so I still believe we will see what happens with VR but I’m not believing its really going to take off.
If these two companies do not allow you to upgrade your existing console to the next for a nominal fee or a USB upgrade box on the current console then that is a HUGE screw you to the current owners. The mobile phone cycle and the console cycle is different animals.
See Idk if it will peak. I think there will be some killer games that ship with or be a launch title each headset but I kind of feel like this will go the way of the Move or maybe more popular like the Kinnect and then we won’t hear about it for five years.
That happens every console and tech cycle. We spend months or years about the next big thing and then it fizzles and then we go back to better graphics, better storying telling, or whatever. We’ve seen it with 3D gaming/movies, motion gaming, curved displays, motion movies, and lightgun gaming. All these were the next…
As a Playstation fan its fine if they own the market but I don’t believe VR is that key. I also don’t see PS4.5 being that key either. By creating a second console and not giving your current PS4 ownership a chance to buy a small add-on to their existing consoles you are basically telling owners that they don’t matter…
Could he be anymore non-committal? Honestly with the current price point of VR headsets and the specs of the computers needed to run them even if Valve made HL3 or one of their other long form storytelling games I don’t know if I could afford to get it. Also I don’t know if it would sell the way previous games would…
