“Our head of engine programs told me it would be absolutely nuts to [put a] turbocharger on the V12, so the answer is no”

Fits Alfa Romeo, Ducati, Ferrari, Fiat, Lamborghini and Yugo.

In the event of something like large-scale war, where a nation’s space program is taken over or otherwise disabled, is there a contingency plan to get their astronauts down? Do they just sit up there and run out of supplies? Can the space station communicate with other countries? Would another country that isn’t

Go watch some initial D. If that doesn’t get you into drifting, nothing will.

It’s (relatively) easy to make big power. It’s far less easy to make big power last the length of the warranty.

I’d highly encourage you to go to a Pro1 FD event if there is one in your area. It’s a circus, and certainly incredibly fun to spectate. Most road racers and rallyists we know who have taken us up on that offer to check it out firsthand have had an opinion changing experience. Certainly no shame in not seeing it as

It’s a different kind of precision exercise. “Stylishly out of control” is what I’ve heard from other people. Or just a bit more dramatic. Professional drifting isn’t an absolute favorite of mine, but I love seeing cars get just a touch sideways exiting a corner.

My reply below is based on two years of history on one car. Most ALS systems aren’t controlled or engineered in the way that these are. And in terms of rally cars eating turbochargers, I’d say that their turbocharger attrition is more related to restrictor usage, and while ALS may impact that, these are unrestricted

We have run the same exhaust manifold on Ryan Tuerck’s Toyota 86 for the last two years. Longevity of the manifold is not compromised. Other than turbo size changes, we have run the same turbos on Ryan’s car over the course of the last two years as well and as of yet have not had a failure of one of them. Really

You could fly him to the moon and let him play among the stars

Could we fly him to the moon and let him play among the stars... forever?

You could tweet all you like at 45.

I can think of 100 reasons why someone would want a Tahoe with an LS over a “Trackhawk, Range Rover SVR, AMG SUVs or Cayenne Turbo”. And that is before we even start talking about sticker price and cost of ownership.

nope, but it was a while ago when we bought it (2001?) so it was pretty fast then. Vortec 454 with a protech intercooled supercharger running 7psi. My off the cusp guess would be high 300's low 400's for power and well above 500 lbs-ft. Protech claims 60-65% gains (sure they do) but I think 50% is realistic,

At this point its like whatever too me. They teased us for too long. I would have rather had an all new Challanger than this. This is the equivalent of an old guy thinking he’s cool because he lost weight and got a leather jacket and some shades.

Seriously, Jalops, this is it. The moment of truth. We need to buy this car.

Get on my level

Yeah, I thought that one was perfect. A red 996 Aerokit (“I got a GT3, brah”) is just the right canvas for that joke.

I want a beautiful, clean, air-cooled 911 and have the script “Cayenne” on the back to drive people insane.

The Douche Carrera and Douche Canoe are awesome, not stupid. Self deprecating humor is the best kind.
