You’re fired!
You’re fired!
As a guy who grew up reading microwave oven manuals and tore apart electrical appliances (without putting them back together), I’m pleased to see stuff like this on Jalopnik. Finally I don’t have to resort to some random rare earth elements’ article on Wikipedia for bedtime reads.
Pretty sure that’s just a big VW Beetle, dude.
In third-world countries like the one I’m living in, 100% positive.
How come this comment hasn’t had 555 stars by now?
Does it come with a digital tire pressure gauge indicator of some sort?
If a mysterious party were to call me late at night, telling me that I’d be rewarded with that M3 Touring Concept for ruining David Tracy’s CJ project setting myself on fire stealing Torch’s Bug... I’d do it in a heartbeat.
I have this weird fetish lust affinity for weird shades of blue... So there.
It is actually easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission ;)
Jesus. Is CA trying to one-up FL nowadays?
This. So much this. Where I live (Jakarta, Indonesia), it costs something equivalent to US$4.5 for a 12-mile trip during rush hour, without surge. I got to ride in nice, well-cared cars, with drivers who know their way around town. In my book they deserve the 10-20% tip I'd usually give them.
“That’s not what it’s supposed to do.”
I'm imagining the 787B’s start-up and idle sound on this car as I'm typing this.
Came here for this, left satisfied.
Are we going to see Tavarish buying one for the price of a microwave oven within the next 10-15 years?
How do I unsee it?
Shit like this happens where I live (Jakarta, Indonesia), though nowhere close to 29 hours. 4-6 hours of outage were (and sometimes, still are) more like it. Power outage and faulty signals are nothing new to train commuters here. People who happened to be at the station would just tweet about it, and the rest of us…

I had to pick my jaw up from the floor after I watched the first 3 minutes of the video. I wish my Honda minivan's auto box could shift the way that Audi does.
