I’m pretty sure you put more thought into it that the writers did.
There was a clip of Bloom in the Super Bowl commercial:
As much as I thought it was a really good movie, I feel like there were just a few too niggling plot holes for me to really have interest in seeing it again. The first 30 minutes are so are really well done and the first death was pretty shocking and effective, but then it kind of just fell apart for me the rest of…
So what you’re saying is that there’s a chance this is a Venom prequel after all?
Would be hilarious if the fishermen just somehow easily managed to subdue calvin. OH look, it’s some kind of giant stingray, let’s capture it. They use fishing nets and spears and manage to easily kill it and it’s being served in an asian restaurant the next day as a cure for fertility.
Everything is simpler, for one. It doesn’t have complex engine cooling or plumbing, it doesn’t have expensive thermal tiles, it doesn’t generate anywhere near the same amount of heat ( or vibrations, most likely ) and the Shuttle spent an awful lot longer in flight and had to deal with micrometeorite impacts.
God damn it space is so cool.
Well, the trailer reeks. Not just those things, but boring art style. Oo, moody and brooding in space! Isolation!
Appropriately enough the original Alien. Ripley flat out refuses to let the infected Kane back onto the ship. It’s only by the intervention of Ash the Android that it happens. It’s not stupidity, it’s a deliberate action on the company to acquire the lifeform.
No, he plays the planet.
Or the alien arrives on earth, the capsule is picked up by a nearby research vessel. It devastates a majority of the crew before finally succumbing to the common cold.
In the sequel, “Death” the alien kills all life on earth, but then finds itself lonely. So it kills itself, but then the fog clears and the army arrives.
Or.
The alien eats some humans that have drug issues, alien in turn gets addicted. Deep.
Would be cool if they open the back of the arcade machine and there was no electronics inside, just the Jumanji board game from the original.
Unless the game is actually more of a mimic and becomes whatever sort of game it needs to be to attract players/prey.. Which makes a kind of creepy sense. So it’s still older than 30 years old. It means the original could be a hell of a lot older than a century old too, and just tapped into something else.
He calls it....”Tony Starch”
“Your jacket is now dry”
Marisa Tomei thanks you...
I am still freaked by how hot aunt May is
