SNL has figured out that triggering the outrage of the masses over political and social commentary is the surest way to ratings. Other forms of humor (slapstick, crude jokes, silly characters) don’t grab the attention anymore.

Honestly, I’m glad they died just as a refutation for the people who cynically predicted there was no way Disney would let them be killed off.

It movies like these as to why I will still go out and catch a movie on the big screen. This gif is cool but it doesn’t compare seeing it in a movie theater in surround sound.

If you want superhero comics without getting into Marvel/DC and their events, I recommend Image Comics’ Invincible, if you haven’t read it. You can think of it sort of like the adventures of Superboy, son of Superman. It’s very fun.

Both parties are hypocritical

To be fair, DC hasn’t had a line-wide event like this since Convergence, which was actually about two years ago.

He’s not “still” having rallies. He’s already a declared candidate for 2020, so consider these not leftovers from 2016, but in advance of 2020. And yes, that’s as fucked up and not-normal as everything else this president* has done.
