If I find a tracking device on my car, tapped into my electrical system, I'm billing them for the electricity. My rates are high.

When on a LAN with another PC set up on the same Dropbox account, Dropbox will transfer between the two PCs, not go out to the Internet. This is a feature they've had for at least a few months.

@Mactopia: Google made the OS, not the chip, and not the particular distributed version of the OS. Nice run at a Google-Bash, but this ball is in T-Mobile's and HTC's court.

@andytizer: If it's not an overheating issue, it could be the power management software kicking the speed down a few notches since you probably don't do a lot when the laptop is closed normally.

@gibson_se: If you hook it up to a PC, can you at any point get it to display whats on the PC, albeit unbacklit? You could possibly build a DIY projector out of it if so. Check out the Lumen Labs instructions.

@gemcosta: As evident in this video, some of the cameras record audio as well. It's easy to tell the real from the fake when it beeps.

Why would I need push notifications for calendar items? My calendar syncs with my Google calendar, so I get calendar notifications. When you set "Pop-up" reminders for calendar items, it syncs to your iPhone as calendar reminders.
