Not something I'm interested in, but the price isn't too bad, actually. Compare it to even a standard iPod-USB cable at most retail stores.

@ffejie: The only problem with that is that the iPod/iPhone dock connector isn't just USB. It's a connection that also allows for audio line out, video out, and remote control. Sure, adding a micro-USB port as well would be a great move, but I also see the benefit of their connector.

@GeicoCaveman: Yeah, screw people who want to work out in any way other than your exact methods!

@wickedcupofjoe: True, but I'd imagine some of these trial things wouldn't let you use a card that'll expire before they get the chance to charge you.

@jupiterthunder: These are single-use card numbers. Us it once, throw it away. If you make sure to cancel it, no more charges come thru. If you don't, then they can make another charge. The whole point of this is to AVOID the charge. See?

For those using the Paypal temporary card, be sure to cancel that card number before the trial date is up.

@wlai: The Paypal temporary card is a feature of the Paypal plugin. Install that, and you'll be able to generate one-use cards within the browser.

My last apartment was left as a mess. I didn't care, I needed out fast. When the drug-dealing neighbors return fire on the crew doing a drive-by on them and a bullet ends up through my bedroom.. Well, it's past time to be considerate to the apartment complex that never did anything about the gangsters despite many

@jupiterthunder: per-transaction fees are generally in the 30-50 cent range. From there, there's a discount rate (percentage off the top) that varies widely.

I've got a box full of 6.3" touchscreen LCDs that would rock for a project like this. They're 1024x768, so they'd be clear. Maybe I'll build a few some time. Hell, I think I have about 40 screens.

@RJackson: You should keep your modem and your router separate.

@sandeepdeepak: I don't think most merchants want to lose the ability to accept payment in the form of credit cards. Do you?

@soggy_cheerio: As an Oklahoman myself, I find that an upgrade to any old CDR laying around works well. For the heavier stuff, though, things like this won't do a bit of damage to the ice.

I love it, I just hope they add more content. I know that they can't realistically add EVERY work in the Louvre, but some more would be great. I really love the idea of getting the art out to people using technology like this.

Hmm. More programs running in the background for something I never look at? Not exactly my style.

@WhineAndCheese: Some people in non-same-sex (opposite-sex?) relationships use the term partner as well. Doesn't carry the idea of ownership like husband/wife tends to have.

@moe52: I personally prefer Crossloop for that function.
