Selling out Raphael’s character development to prop Adam is way beneath this show. Pull it together, JTV.

Chekhov’s Derek
Yeah I basically never wanted to punch Josh more than when he was like “woohoo, I’m off the hook.”
So glad this show is back! Forgot how much I missed it. Agreed about the Anezka thing, it’s getting really tired I hope they shake up the telenovella/crime plot cause it’s a little stale. I always love the Jane/Xo/Alba scenes, it shows how families can offer support to each other so well, reminds me a lot of my family.
Noone doubts Rebecca needs help, but I doubt Jesus would be of any help. And I wouldn’t say that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is not a feminist show because the main character is female and has many issues.
This one strained credulity a bit too much for me—generally not a fan of actors showing up as their own doppelgangers and Vincent Rodriguez’s English accent was, uh, not good. Also, I’m irritated that Darryl seemed to come away with the “win” from his argument with White Josh. Pressuring someone into having a child is…
One great thing about this episode is that Rebecca finally got her wish from all of last season: Paula is completely integrated into her girl group. In typical Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fashion Rebecca gets what she wanted, but she no longer even remembers that was what she wanted.
First of all, hello New Rebecca. Would that I were at that casting call.
I really liked it. It’s definitely the funniest SP so far in my opinion. Seriously, I never laughed so much at so many things in one episode. I wanted writers to break the fourth wall/ go full meta when new Mateo was introduced. Adam having his own lady LLN was actually hilarious. The J/R fight was a long time coming.…
I don’t think everyone they know has died, but it only just hit me that a lot of time could’ve passed, especially since Michael wanted the torture to last thousands of years so they’re operating on quite a different time scale. If the average run time is two weeks (just guessing, based on Michael’s offhand comment…
I’m a little sad that Mindy isn’t gonna get her cocaine tho.
Which normally is *incredibly* irritating - but in this case I think can be forgiven, given the likely dearth of capable 90+ actresses.
Hollywood is VERY good at casting female actors who are contemporaries to male actors in age as their mothers.
