I’ve always thought the stigma of seeing a sex worker is the partly stems from the idea of not being able to get it without paying for it. Like it’s so much more intimate to get wasted at a bar and go home with a stranger.

I mean, Black Panther was good and all, but it was good in a “This is a really good comic-book movie” way. I don’t see it as “Best Picture” material.

Hot take: Black Panther wasn’t that great of a movie in terms of plot, acting or cinematography. I definitely enjoyed it and think it’s a great movie for everyone to see, but it doesn’t deserve any Oscars. 

Black Panther was awesome, but I am not so sure it’s the best movie of the year (from I dunno - a critical perspective I guess?). Anyway, screw the awards, money talks and the film’s performance has guaranteed sequels and greater participation in the MCU. THAT’S the real win here.
