Do you have a source for that 2.8m figure? That’s way higher than any estimate I’ve seen.

Don’t pretend this nonsense isn’t all over the place. My brother and his wife (both Texans) are vaccinated. My neighbor (in a fairly affluent area of New Jersey) refuses.
I see the same thing here in metro NYC.
My guess is, you saw “Texans” and thought of a bunch of rednecks. Plenty of other people here seem to have done the same, making comments about how the attackers are probably going to yesterday’s Trump rally, how we should let Texas secede, etc. But the Texans here are black women, which the article did not…
They’re from the Houston area and not Dallas, so you can take some solace there. (I’ve lived in both).
I doubt it. Texas is more than just rural Trump lovers.
I don’t think so. The comment was grey earlier, but the responses must have ungreyed it.
Seriously. Kinja is broken, and it has nothing to do with Krispy. And I love how this person didn’t have the guts to use their real account.
The reason there’s so much hype around fall is because it’s the time of year when cookies, doughnuts, and hot, buttery cinnamon rolls come back into your life.
The joke here is that tree limb fell on him, leading to his being paralyzed. He apparently has been receiving a nice annuity from an insurance settlement as a result. Then he turns around and decries the “handouts” others are given.
As others have said, I hope another tree comes along to finish the job.
Mmmmm, Indian bread. If you have leftover yogurt and cucumbers, you could make some raita, which goes great with bread.
I don’t know that I’d call him an incel. He became a father at around age 22 and had an on and off again girlfriend.
That happened to me a few times in recent months. I mentioned that to the store manager, and they said Starbucks had changed lid providers (maybe because of COVID?), and the new lids don’t fit as well.
People have joked for years that Keith will outlive them all. It just might happen.
I hope the book discusses the differences between Italian and Italian-American cuisine. One of my favorite episodes was when they went to Naples, specifically how Paulie didn’t fit in all, and he didn’t like their food because it wasn’t the red sauce with pasta that he knows.

(Got kinja’d)
Sounds like something Michael or Dwight would have said. But, if this happened at 25, it would have been very early in the series, before the characters were fully fleshed out.
