With the Falcon looking like that I’d say the point was to NOT be that car. lol

That was also likely NOT meeting US emissions. The BEST 5.0 pushrod we got in the 90's was 240HP in the SVT Cobra which some say was closer to a 255HP. The 3.4 was much smaller making it better for handling and lighter.

By US standards the engine was still amazing. It made more power than larger V8's of the same generation. The Ford 5.0 and (new) 4.6 16v in the Mustang GT made less power and the 5.7 from Chevy at the time was just 50 more.

The now old, 2015 Q50/60 Redsports are still faster than the new TLX type-S. IMO it was dumb for Acura to drop a new performance trim with just 350 HP. Now the Q interior, that badly needs an update last I looked.

I bought a 2018 Q50 Red sport. Loved the car, hated the dealership so much I ditched it for a Mustang 1 year later just to avoid the dealership.

30yrs in NYC and DC rush hour traffic in a manual since 2004 and counting.... Never even considered moving back to an auto. I feel like anyone bitching about traffic either never drove manual to start with or just has bad knees.

To start anyone that is willing to pay more just for a Benz is a moron worthy of being laughed at, and should be laughed at, HARD.

Just because I have a v8 my car doesn’t NEED 4 exhaust tips. its not like the car has 3 actual exhaust pipes. Its more about getting a desired sound.

Its MSRP is more than my loaded 2019 Mustang Bullitt. I was considering getting a Type-S but then I saw it was like 5k more than I expected and deliverses almost 0 viable benefit over my Mustang.

Acura dealers seem to be a LOT better at selling at or near MSRP than Honda dealers. When the Integra came out a LOT of people were getting them at MSRP. A few people I’ve seen got the Integra because with the markup on the SI the Integra was only a little more.

The price is what killed it for me. I was REALLY hoping for it to be 46-49k range, and that I’d be able to trade my Bullitt in on one. The fact it costs MORE than my Bullitt means there is NO logical way I can reason getting it. It not much better MPG and I don’t need 4 more doors THAT badly.

Almost all of this also applies to outlook.com

I thought it looks Taurus front/MKZ rear.

I saw this theory and I like it, but its not been proven yet.

When they killed the Escort ZX2 I had hoped it meant the Puma was coming over.

.... its a 3v so....  Also dont get me started on that interior.

Ford even still using the 20-15-17 head lights on the Shelby’s and clearly used them to design the 2024 housings. Heck using most the rest of the car too....Hard to age when your STILL USING IT.

The V6 was holding its own against the 5.0 at the time and other v8's. That was impressive in the late 80's

And people are actually comparing people that protest this type BS to the moron truckers up north as the same thing lol.

A job that requires using my head, not spending all day sitting on my ass.
