That i’d rather have a car from 2000, weighs 2400lbs and has the 230HP modern engine, and getting 50+mpg saince its not carring an extra 1000lbs. modern cars are total shit. My 2001 Escort made 140HP and i’d get over 42mpg HW, rated 33. With a modern drivetrain I’d easily cap 50.

I wish Ihad looked at this before getting my Q50 RedSport. The fact it has a manual alone would have given it a clear advantage to a 7yr old updated slow shifting tranny I have now. The Q50 RS is under rated 400, dynos closer to 440) but just having a manual would have greatly helped the cars dynamics.
