You may be too far or too close, because you misjudged the space needed for that big TV. It's pretty subjective in the end. 

I stay up late. With the light on. Even if I bought a nice Samsung screen for my pc, playing in the dark is a big no. I can do it maybe 10min before having headache. So they better let me adjust the screen to my liking.
