After the first game they should have opted out of the earn your gun slot quests. Did presequel recently and it was horrible to be forced on 2 guns for 10 hours. The formula have been there for a decade, let the player get elemental and grenade from the get go. 

The lack of polish and tons of bugs are a matter of concern. Especially after their ceo told everyone to shut up because that egs money was helping doing the best game they ever made. 

The mech handle is fine, no lock like old school armored core, so no issue. But all guns seem to feel like toy for kids. In a game where you spend so much time shooting, it's a big trouble. 

AC 4A was pretty solid actually. Less mission but damn the fight with the arms fortress. Too bad you could end up stuck if you chose the wrong path and couldn't clear the last mission, at least in previous AC you could play all mission once you cleared the main quest instead of going ng+.
