Oh yeah, this was the lead story on the Chinese language news program in San Francisco last night (KTSF 26). My wife is pissed. This is a huge story over there and here too for Asians.

My wife first stayed there from China. Her friend owns a chain of bars there, because white guys love their booze. At one point it had the highest ratio of strip clubs to population anywhere, not sure if that is still true. There is just something so white about it.

I was in Portland OR for one weekend and it took me about four hours to figure out that it's just unbelievably white. I also saw a Confederate flag flying from a house near a place where we had breakfast. I would say that Oakland is not that racist, but most Oaklanders would laugh at me. I'd still say it.
