Profit sharing, publicity, and cementing Bungie IPs as cornerstone games for their competition to Gamepass. They don’t need to be exclusives - the market is weird now, since selling subscriptions is becoming the main source of income for platforms. So ironically Sony can make more money by providing Bungie games as a

As just one example, the game’s massive upcoming February 22 expansion, The Witch Queen, won’t launch with any platform exclusives, a common occurrence in the game’s past.

I’m looking forward to playing coop when it is added but I genuinely think this campaign was meant to be played through solo the first time, so I’m glad I did. Plot aside, open world stuff can get frustrating when you and your coop friend want to do different things. :)

Good to know. Hopefully we can get some good examples at some point. I still don’t think it’s as rampant as the article implies, but it would be good to have solid examples to send to 343.

Is there any actual evidence of this? The bot names don’t always gray out in the game stats, that’s always been the case, so these screenshots are not evidence of overfilled games. You’d have to actually see the oversized team in game or in a Theater recording. Otherwise you’re just perpetuating false rumors from

Totally fair. The whole setup just made me groan personally.

I’m one of the rare people who didn’t think the original was very good - I think it did well because of some production elements, and because it’s new to the hordes of netflix viewers who are fairly new to the battle royale genre. That newness is going to wear off quick in subsequent seasons so yeah, quality will go

correct, none of the second tier (blue background/250XP) weapon-based kill challenges are working in quick play or BTB. Some have reported success in ranked.

Who the fuck wants to play dozens and dozens of hours just to change the color of a visor

Which is fair, but yes, as you say the reality is the projectiles don’t hit in a real battle. It might also partly be an issue with projectile hit registration, cause I’ve been on both sides of a close range battle with the gun, and after shields go down most of the shots seem like they are passing through a ghost. I

The challenges are garbage too. I am supposed to kill 3 players with a the covenant pulse rifle - which can’t kill a fly. It’s impossible to win a gun fight with that as the finishing shot when the gun is literally intended for shield stripping. Either they outshoot me or a team mate finishes them off, every time. Oh

He is, just not in BTB.

They did not say they were fixing it. In fact they wrote off the EMP comment as player rage. I recommend reading the post carefully... there’s actually very little they are committing to changing and they wrote most player feedback off as “we know better” (which, to be fair, in some cases they absolutely do, but in

Speak for yourself about reading things people never said - I never once said Ed wouldn’t be in the show, nor have most of the people you’ve replied to. We know vaguely based on statements by Nemec that there should be some form of Ed at some point, but that is all we know for now. Everything else is pure speculation,

You can “put it like this” all you want, but the reality is that you are just pulling non-applicable assumptions out of your arse. We have plenty of evidence that this isn’t going to follow the sequence of events of the anime (including multiple late-series story elements being featured as part of Season One), and

The entire series is a rewrite. The trailer shows this clearly. Episode assumptions based on the anime just don’t apply.

Based on the adaptations they’ve chosen for season one it’s completely different in sequence than the anime, and based on the trailer shots the stories will involve different characters and settings. They may also be specifically avoiding having a kid in the hallucinogenic episode...

For the most part, they don’t. There are two things that happen:

The fact that Halo has slow health regen that leads to very extended periods of time counting as assists, plus lots a lots of chip damage from grenades or people using weapons at ranges they aren’t designed for, are probably primary factors for counting it as 1/3 (other games count it as 1/2).

Mantle isn’t gone, I was mentioning it in that sentence because it was one of the new features people complained about at the time (yes, really).
