no, the refraction is consistent. It’s the light path from the fish to your eye, the direction of the light hitting it doesn’t matter (if refraction worked the way you describe, your glasses/contacts wouldn’t work half the time). You will always aim below the fish image in real life.

As opposed to the 6 month to 2 year wait PC has had for a number of other headliners? If PC is really your thing, this is something you are used to outside of true competitive games (overwatch) and F2P (smite, warframe) that have good reason to start on PC and console gets to suffer instead.
