Finally—and this is the best news of all—Vault of Glass exotic weapon drops are getting bumped up to level 32, meaning you won't have to upgrade the new ones you find. Of course, the legendary stuff you find in there will still be pretty useless for level 31-32 characters, but at least this is a start toward keeping

Destiny's Actual Biggest Flaw

I've been playing with an international team, and even when we get everyone in sync and do everything correctly, we experience soooo many bugs due to lag it's insufferable. This was a problem in Atheon too, but there it was tollerable, because it only took a few tries to work around it or get a clean run. When half

I watched the last two episodes of SAO II lying on the couch at my sister's around midnight christmas eve/christmas morning, after everyone had gone to sleep. Heartbreaking, emotional, definitely brought a few tears - but great story. I was never *that* impressed by SAO, but Mother's Rossario is a whole different

According to a report by the Chinese Global Times, Zhang's submarine can also has several instruments, like robotic arms, for underwater research and other scientific uses.

Ah, but you forget important elements they threw in to ensure it was worth the asking price - Make all prior end-game content worthless by making it the same or worse than vendor gear, and regularly exclude non-dlc owners from critical end-game events. In other words, just forcibly reduce the original game's value.

Weird thought: right now, no matter how much time you've pumped into Destiny, your character is still really just level 20. It says it right there in the menu screen. No matter how many hours you've spent upgrading gear and farming for materials, your character's top level is still just tied to what he or she is

Bungie also introduced a messy Exotic-upgrading system that is tied to the weekend vendor, forcing players to cross their fingers every Friday in hopes that he'll have the upgrades they need. Like with the raid, players just have to hope they get lucky every week. (You can read more about this bummer of a new system

Perhaps most importantly, most MMORPGS don't get paradigm-shifting expansions every three months.

Not the same at all, most MMOs you get X high end gear to get Y raid gear, then you need Y raid gear or equivalent to get Z gear in the next expansion. You don't just go to the merchant after the expansion and replace all that high end raid gear you worked on for a few gil/gold, standing next to the low level

Completely new gear that replaces all prior progression paths, you have to level from scratch, and limited to choices that don't necessarily fit your play-style? No, I've not seen that in an MMO. Usually there is a clear progression from your current gear to upgraded or new gear. Often that prior gear was required to

I asked Bungie if they're planning a patch, but they declined to comment. Here's hoping they patch the Vault sooner, rather than later. It'd be a shame to see the game's coolest dungeon fall by the wayside.

This pretty well covers it. Those who don't buy the dlc probably don't need these missions every week (it is already confirmed it wont be this way every week). It is mainly for gear and bonus xp they likely already have.

The commendation situation applies to everyone, dlc or no, and raid items aren't needed for anything but raid gear/hard mode raid. Early reports from friends are the new story missions are an improvement.

Note: That many of the photos below were taken before the bans.

Great anime and great special. This is fairly typical though, it seems like many temples allow professional filming for special purposes, events, and documentation of the site (thus pamphlets and tourist books), but not general photography.

oh, and from the same Bungie update (exotic only but frees up more for legendaries): In preparation for the Dark Below, Exotic Armor and Weapons no longer require Ascendant Materials to upgrade

Which you could already get with vanguard or crucible marks - buy a chest piece and destroy it for 2 or 3 shards. Also, the daily will help, and you can get a ton from the raid (or if you are lucky, nightfall). If you have multiple characters but combine your shards to level one character, you can actually push really

Worst part: Are we really just going to have to fight the same four Hive enemies over and over again? And why are they still pretending that this game has a story? They know this is Destiny, right?

Surely I'm not the only one who thought this map was kinda crap in the long haul. If you were a sniper, sure it could be mindless fun or good for heated duals, but for the rest of the team it often got old really quick. On the rare occasion it wasn't a sniper's haven, you could have some fun battles (like the
