"I didn't finish MW2, because no one was paying me to, so I really have no idea where the story begins here."

I never said girl's suck at math. My mother was the accountant for my father's business, because he was fairly hopeless. :)
It's stated in the other article, but *don't* use a shower cap in the microwave. It's not microwave safe, and it's not food safe. Use a paper towel or proper plastic wrap (you can even get ones that look like shower caps, though they are a waste of money and resources frankly)
It's not the visuals, they've admitted to the changes, and I believe even admitted that it's different in single player. Also, if it were the visuals it wouldn't be consistent, it would only be in more intensive areas, but the lag is the same all the time.
I play a fair number of shooters, and I noticed the lag before I had seen anything about it online. I wasn't thrilled with the responsiveness in 2 either so I wasn't sure if it was just that I wasn't used to it (and that I've been simultaneously working my way though gears 3 on insane with a friend) or what. It didn't…
They don't like it because they can't shoot as well with it. You like it better because it makes more sense for you. Everybody's wired differently, so that's why it's probably a good idea to have the new aiming be a choice.
They fire their pistols more but they seem to toss grenades a less. At first I was annoyed by the Jackals more because shooting the gap in the shield doesn't work consistently like it does in later games, but since you can take them out even with the shield in a few shots of the pistol, I got used to attacking more…
That's assuming I can aim, but yes. ;)
I have to wonder what testers they are referring to, because the public testing was confined to multiplayer, where the aiming works fine. If the private testing was mainly employees, friends, and family of the company, then yeah, they probably didn't notice or didn't think to comment because the difference isn't…
It sounds silly, but my single biggest graphical issue with Anniversary is the Halo itself, on the start-up screen. The re-vamped model may have more "stuff", but it isn't as nuanced and detailed, so it breaks the whole sense of scale of the halo itself. The shot of (minor halo 3 spoiler) the replacement halo rising…
I'm sure it's mainly because many of them were already remade ("in spirit" in some cases) for Halo 3 and Reach.
What about my comment are you referring to? I said nothing about sites with lots of flash ads - but even so, most blogs including the Gawker sites have at least one or two ads on every page that is flash driven. Weather and stock sites often have have a half a dozen. Many of the static ads are flash driven as well…
They made a big deal about it being available, but by the time it was available, it was no longer a big deal because most developers had already abandoned it - that's my point. Also note I'm specifically responding to the comment that it is a significant gap in this phone's functionality - it isn't, because it's a…
They generate some heat, but they aren't efficient about it at all. It's a small filament in a glass (insulator) enclosure. They're also usually located high up, or at least above waist level, so the heat is all lost to the ceiling/attic. A small space heater (electric or radiator) is much more energy efficient if you…
I wish sites would stop spreading this article, there's no evidence whatsoever as to what happened, and no information clarifying "multiple users" being any more than a couple people. Also, it has nothing to do with the scanner itself, but the screens susceptibility to static discharge while inside your bag which…
"I loathe Flash for its inefficiencies, ability to bring computers to their knees, and horrendous introduction animations that you just can't skip."
"The lack of a version of Adobe's Flash Player at launch is a rather big hole in the phone's functionality"
The only problem is when you realize you have to get out of that warm nest and go to work.
Obviously everybody lives in different environments, has different health issues, etc, and will have their own priorities for sure. Still, that is impressive for Montana. As someone living in that weather in a small home, I'm sure he's used to the cold though.
As others have said, with this version of android you can hide the apps even if they can't be uninstalled. This disables both the app and any background services, so it no longer takes up resources or shows in the interface. If they can't be uninstalled, it's usually because they are in reserved memory you can't use…
