@gamerguy2002: though if the internal is truly generically replaceable as the text implies, you could possibly crack the old external one open and move the hard drive over to the new machine.

@Wilson: Indeed, I got shutter glasses basically for free with my video card around the same time. so, they are clearly applying the statement to a particular method to achieve 3D gaming, which I wouldn't quite call fair.

Except that most bathtubs these days are fiberglass, not ceramic ;)

@cha0tic: I think there's stuff in the extended universe (online somewhere, maybe from the ARGs) that specifically discusses them bringing the bears to the island (something about them acclimating to the habitat)

@Tpadz: He didn't, but the main cast wasn't really his crew, so it makes sense he wouldn't join them. Also, he didn't have much attachment to the modern world, so I imagine that modern LA wouldn't fit as his manifest purgatory.

@SilverWordz: The smokey one was an epic tie-in, the button was just damn funny, the boar was... eh. :)

What I really want to know, is when do we get the "Hurley's Island" spin-off series!

@SecCom: Part of my theory is that the plug, just like the rest of the island, it really just a manifestation of the connection, not really a device, therefore what was in that cave could be damn near anything. It could have been there since the beginning of time, put there by an early of the guardian of the island,

@devwild: Oh, and this also explains the sideways world/purgatory in this season, as it was born from the same power, just on the "other side", after death.

My theory is the Island and Source are the physical manifestation of the connection between the "reality" of the Lost universe an originating universe/dimension/existence, or the source of Creation (most literally tied to Judaism/Christianity, but other religions as well). Basically, reality as we know it would have

As was noted by others in that old post, if you actually *like* tea, you should steep it for the appropriate time (1-5 minutes depending on the type of tea), then remove the tea from the cup. Otherwise you aren't really making the tea stronger, you're just over-steeping and making it bitter.

My linksys g started having issues, so I looked into something with gigabit and n. Everything else I looked at had major reliability issues, so I wound up with a airport extreme. The only complaint I have is the standalone software method of configuration, and because of that the fact that I have to reboot for just

Unfortunately, I think the advertising of the woot-offs on lifehacker, giz, and elsewhere has only really contributed to making them pretty much pointless too all but the most obsessed. The more interesting items sell out faster than the tools can refresh, and the mild deals on some computers aren't really worth it

For those concerned about the temperature, give this other article a look (note: I have not verified these statements):

@dragonfliet: Actually the devs have likely already done much of the porting or have plans to, not having a publisher does not stop development and many indy games are developed before getting a publisher for alternate platforms so they can use the game to sell itself. The support costs would be literally that,

This article needs some revision as it's a pretty severe misrepresentation of the story - Microsoft isn't willing to be the publisher for the XBLA game since it's not a Microsoft platform-based game. That's pretty clear-cut. They would happily have it on XBLA if another publisher backed it.

This whole debacle is just silly because proper nouns in scrabble has been and always should be just a house rule. It doesn't really change anything, and you can chose to play however you like.

@ddillman: Certainly, not contradicting that, just referring to the comment on analog cables in the image. :)

@Alsybub: It's not really tarnish, it's oxidation, which pits the metal and causes permanent damage, after a while it leads to poor contacts and makes the cable worthless. Also, it often facilitates oxidation of the jack it's plugged into, so not great for your gear either. You've probably seen old electronics with
