I think people understate the anger of the fanbase. Might be on the bad side of this opinion but hopefully the sequel is a little more forgiving on the weapon/shield breaking stuff. I’m not saying get rid of it entirely but maybe have weapons/shields take a few more hits before breaking or have a way of repairing stuff.

I’ll say it. Slime would’ve been a better choice to rep DQ in Smash. Think about it. Who’s more recognizable? The average gamer probably wouldn’t know Erdrick or Luminary, but they might know about Slime.
