I’d love a sequel, but the poor box office returns ($45 million U.S. on a budget of over $100 million) probably means I’ll have to be content with what I have.

For someone relatively unfamiliar with the character, what collections would folks suggest they check out to become acquainted?

Yes...

Not sure what led you to make this reply, but I replied to a number of other posts hopefully conveying that yes, I do understand the difference between the platform and the application. If you had some magic sentence in your reply that you feel I should have explicitly acknowledged, I’m sorry I missed it.

Yeah, I’m picking up what you’re laying down. :)

Frankly I’ve only had a SmartTV for a couple weeks, so will need to mess around with it some more. Coming from a 3rd Gen AppleTV attached to a “normal” TV, the UI for the Apple app on the LG looked pretty similar (as did Netflix and Disney+), so I may not have cottoned on to whatever might be different or missing.

Fair point - I’ve only just updated to a 4k TV within the last couple weeks and my previous main TV was a 2008 Sony Bravia tank that’ll be living a new life elsewhere in the home. I used a 3rd Gen AppleTV a lot with the Sony because it was “just” a TV. This is my first SmartTV, so still has a sheen on it as I get used

Yeah, it’s weird that the one built into the 4k OLED from LG I just updated to has (or at least appears to offer) that kind of stuff too. So I’ll have to play with it a bit more. I’m used to the older AppleTV 3rd Gen, so need to figure out the ROI on finally updating.

Thanks for the feedback. I have three third gen AppleTVs around the house that I’ve held onto for years, but their app support is pretty lackluster - i.e. none. Just finally upgraded my first 4k TV (an LG OLED that has Airplay). The AppleTV app on the TV has access to my film/show library, Watch Next plus my Apple TV+

If I don’t use Apple Arcade, I’m really struggling to understand what this brings me over the AppleTV App already available on my TV.

Hmmm, maybe Hellfire Club’s Mastermind (Jason Wyngarde)? For when they bring in some Excalibur or other mutant shenanigans...

Dunno - whom would you cast him as? Osbourne?

I would also recommend “The Night Manager”; I thought she was great in that too, perhaps underutilized, and Hiddleston & Laurie were fun too.

It’s a good idea to toss a piece of paper with credit and debit card numbers (with security codes) in your kit as well, along with some cash.

I hadn’t heard of it, and the first link I clicked on about it (fandom) said: “A Court of Thorns and Roses is the first book in an adult fantasy series of the same name by Sarah J. Maas. It was formally a young adult series but had to be remarketed as adult because of the graphic sex it in. Hence, the cover change.
