Everyone is listing lofty books like Tolkien or ancient sci-fi. The oldest books I have in my collection are boxed sets (easy to pack and carry around when you’re moving from place to place, and they serve as impromptu bookends). They date back to when I was a lad under ten in the early/mid-eighties.
