Bring Back Pontiac

"Dapper Dan" Hogan, a St. Paul, Minnesota saloonkeeper and mob boss, is killed on this day in 1928 when someone plants a car bomb under the floorboards of his new Paige coupe. Doctors worked all day to save him—according to the Morning Tribune, "racketeers, police characters, and business men" queued up at the

I've got...let's see....$7 in my wallet right now, could you please have it delivered by Christmas?

Apart from the coupe part? No, under the skin it's identical, but making it a coupe put it over the top.

The ultimate modern unicorn.

Pontiac only made a handful Solstice Coupes in 2009 only, and not many were ordered in turbocharged GXP trim. If you find a good GXP Coupe especially with a manual (which is rarer still!) hold on to it, because you might have a future classic on your hands.

For whatever reason, Chrysler couldn't move many of it's hotted up Crossfire roadster despite it's Supercharged AMG V6 under the hood. Probably because no one wanted a Crossfire in any capacity, let alone an expensive convertible version.

That's not the point. This Yukon isn't meant to be an all around performance vehicle, and yet you are trying to treat it as such. It's meant to be a giant muscle car (truck), straight line power.

"...if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

$10k for an Explorer that has 135k miles on it? And it wasn't even a movie original? Good fricken luck.

Or is a mini van a unibody SUV? I think you are finally getting the point now. This thing is not meant to be a track car, it is meant to go very fast in a straight line (although, there is a chance would be surprised at it's handling capability) with the ability to carry a lot of stuff. Hennessey made this because

The latter

Because 'Murica!

Uhhhh....shouldn't this be shielded? This thing is just awful, and if it's real, I feel so sorry for any soldier that would need to ride in it. Looks like it would provide as much protection from enemy fire as a Yugo.

That's fair. I still worry about new cars lasting for decades with a lot of attention put on renewable and recyclable materials which are made to break down.

But then you get the completely disconnected feeling of Kia/Hyundai steering. Chevy does a much better job on that end, and that should tell you something.

I have a small SUV and I love it. I've always like the exterior styling of the 9-4 more than it's platform-mates. I don't remember if there is a clever cup holder in this, but that is always a winner for me.

That tiny engine was pretty decent in the Cruze, obviously you'd get a lot more weight in the Trax. Although in the heat, that 1.4T got really tired...

Well... it is the base model, so....

But there are a good number around today. The bodies seem to be able to handle sitting in a barn for decades on end. I'm afraid the plastics and composites of current cars are going to be hell to maintain after a while.
