1. You have a bitchin’ Camaro

I will also add that some non-headlight “fashion LED trim” lights are so bright even in the daytime. We get it, LED’s are cool and cool DRL lights are cool, but heck they don’t need to be high-beam bright during the day.

6 out of 10 people drive around with their high beams regardless if there’s other traffic or not. Some swap out their stock projector headlights with non-projected because they claim stock headlights were not satisfactory. There’s an uptick in aftermarket laser headlights (and people can’t seem to aim them properly),

I’m probably going to have to repeat this a million times in the comments... but one of the criteria for “good” headlights is that they also don’t glare the crap out of oncoming drivers.

I’m so tired of these bright headlights that keep blind while driving at night. It’s so bad that I have to wear night time glasses because of how stupidly bright car headlights have become.

I realize one should be careful what they wish for but I almost hope this stupid tariff shit is what causes the US to go into a recession. Sure- its apparent that pussy grabbing, obstruction of justice and separating young children from their parents at the border seems fine to the average trump supporter. But a

My 401k is already paying for it.

You mean to tell me that if an ignorant, constantly-lying, dictator ass-kissing, draft-dodging, wife-cheating, economics-clueless Republican makes working Joes suffer because his mayfly-like brain doesn’t grasp how trade wars are a tax on consumers? “Shock.”

Their is no reason for the U.S. Consumer to pay the Tariffs, which take effect on China today.

I’ve thought for years that garbage trucks and school busses were the best two types of vehicles that should be converted to hybrid electric. They stop often, and could use the torque of electric engines to get moving without having a cloud of diesel smoke.

Or how will we know to make a mad-dash to get the trash out when it’s garbage day?

Not sure about the ones in NYC, but I’m pretty sure I get more noise from all the other trash truck gear than I do from the engine. That said, it’s lifting and emptying a dumpster, which involves a bit more noise than single cans or a guy throwing bags in the back.

I see you’ve never tried to design and manufacture a car before.

if you’re relying on the range extender a lot, you may as well be running a gasoline-powered truck.

Recent autonomous vehicle test run in China:

With the Golf/GTI/R.

I think they are screwed. The easy to win tariff wars have sent GM’s new products offshore, and made low performing products unprofitable to make any longer. So the plants are closed/closing.

Pulling for Mazda. Their mantra across the lineup is engaging, fun cars for non-BMW money.

Sad to hear this about Mazda. I love how their latest vehicles look, feel and drive specifically the ones with the 2.5 Turbo. Really wish I could afford one new, but with them cutting back on incentives and the top level trims of the 6 and CX5 hitting $38K it’s going to be a tough sell even for leasing if not outright

What’s the ideal outcome for that plant in Ohio and its workforce?
