Funny, I’ve got a volt and I’m always up the ass of the biggest car/truck I can find on the highway because the MPG readout broke my mind, and therefore I’ve got to break 110 mpg lifetime or kill myself, and nothing illustrates the pernicious effect of entropy quicker than watching my battery drain once the wind

The Volt replaced a nearly free (thanks to state subsidy) leased Leaf for the wife. I got to drive it for the first 6 months while we still had the Leaf. The Volt is more or less the family car, if we need more room, I have an extended cab Silverado (cheap v-6 work truck edition) with a tonneau cover.  We bought the

I have a Prius for the same reason. It's Rock solid and I only paid $6k for it in the first place. Thinking about a Volt for my next cheap beater

So maybe I should add my NRA Life Member sticker and USPSA (action pistol shooting/3-Gun) stickers to the Volt?

That’s so funny!  I traded in my 15 mustang for a volt for the same cheapskate reason (70 mile daily commute now).  I thought there was a problem with my speedo at first because I noticed the same thing.  I love the off-the-line torque of the volt though, you can totally jump off the line in stealth mode.  Nobody

I love driving very slow in front of tailgaters. I mean LOVE it. I kill them with niceness. I wave and give them thumbs up. I make all of my actions feel as if I am driving on ice. sloooow application of throttle, slow steering inputs, slow braking.

A someone who has a minivan and other cars, I laugh at how I drive no differently in either, but am always tailgated in my minivan and rarely while driving my other cars.

Here in Native America we will holdout for the El Camino.

My favorite small truck hits 187mph and has a 4.3 sec 0-60.

Maneuverability is an underrated virtue, too.

Make it with a Turbo 4 cyl. engine with 200+ HP and decent torque, Front wheel drive, with hybrid electric motor driving the rear wheels for on demand AWD.

C’mon Ford, you know what you really need to do...

Just bring us the next incarnation of what would have been the Ford Falcon ute!!  I’m not a Ford guy typically, but damned if I would rush to buy as soon as it came out!

I would.  I’ve been bitching about too-big small trucks for years.

If you buy an EV to go road tripping today you need to get your head checked.”

When run-of-the-mill EVs work seamlessly for both commuting and road trips, we’ll see the electric car revolution. Until then, not so much.

One word: PHEV.

I can fill it up at home, refuel in a couple minutes, and during the summer get around 1625 miles to a tank.

My car takes less than five minutes to fill, and I can park it on the street and forget about it. See, mine is better.

I think we should steel ourselves for this to happen with many companies in Q1. As per many reports the reliance on China for supply and Trump’s tariff nonsense has had massive detrimental effect not just on Apple but the global economy itself. This what happens when you let someone who has gone bankrupt multiple

lol - the volt will be for my wife... So pussy magnet.
