My sister had a 2002 Beetle. After my Dad tried replacing multiple things on his own (which was impossible because VW likes to make all of their parts in weird sizes and require special tools), and after all the things that went wrong, we've all sworn off VW badged vehicles for life as well.

Just a thought that I'd like to be the first to appreciate this fine idea. It's easy to nit pick and criticize the works of others. For those who believe this is a simple matter, why not get some help to pry yourself out of your urine soaked potato chip encrusted recliner, kick aside the weeks of lite beer cans, waddle

I am reconciling myself to the very real possibility that Top Gear, as we've known it, is over. The lads are at the end of their contract with the BBC anyway.

In this weeks episode, Jeremy punches a stupid man, James doesn't do anything and Richard doesn't do anything either!

This is, by far, the best comment in this discussion.

Another thing to worry about...

You wouldn't be suspicious of the safety motive if you rode a motorcycle. I can tell you with a totally straight face that the first thing on my mind when coming to a stop is the person driving up behind me, and I watch my mirrors like a hawk at ANY slowdown (red lights, traffic, pedestrians, etc). I've seen way, way,

At the risk of being burnt alive for the suggestion; is lane-splitting really so important?

Enjoy prison? For using the gas pedal? Get off car blogs you sadistic moron. There should be punishment but not like this.

This is insane, there is no murder here, not by the GTR or even the Mustang driver. Everyone came here to take part in the same thing. Although it's unfortunate what happened, street racing is absolutely statistically insignificant. This isn't some murder rampage that's slaughtering our children, drunk driving is.

Remember, it's not a recall if the victim is too blown up to care.

...and the dog down the street that won't stop barking, and nosy neighbor that won't mind her own business, and the people who drive 30 in a 45 zone, and those politicians that claim a shut down is the will of the people....

Charger? I'm pretty sure that's a Lambo, dude!

Why isn't it a good daily driver. I bet it is pretty freakin comfortable to tool around in.

It makes no sense to buy one, which is exactly why you should buy one.

Now playing

Same with stop signs/lights(to illustrate my point)

An onramp is a great (and perfectly legal) place to let your car have its head.

You've mentioned before that Americans don't want to drive slow cars the "only" do 0-60 in 10 seconds, but let's face it who really takes their car to the max on an on ramp anyway.

Because we can!
