ummm,this is a little off topic,but my computer nearly stops dead loading comments due to the 108 tracking programs running behind the scene.
You summed that right up.I gave up trying to explain how my Volt works,the only thing they seem to understand is that it only goes 35 miles on battery.
My Volt with 85k miles has the original brake pads.They don’t wear down because like with most EVs,the motors slow the vehicle in regen[one pedal] mode.

I’ve had better results bleeding a system by forcing fluid into the bleeder openings rather than trying to suck the fluid out.
My customers are very happy that I take their vehicles for long test drives after being worked on.Some would even be upset that I did not.This story isn’t telling the whole picture.
The 10 kwh [usable] lithium battery and level 1 charger is nearly identical to my gen1 Chevrolet Volt.The Volt battery weighs around 435 pounds.Something is screwy here.
Why is it even necessary to build and deliver these vehicles at a breakneck speed?Can’t the company produce a smaller number of units,adjust costs to reflect a decent profit and leave it at that? Sometimes smaller is better,especially when dealing with a high quality and costly vehicle that they have mastered.

I agree,touchscreens are a dangerous distraction.Being unable to feel a control as with mechanical objects causes frustration and reckless driving.
