What is not mentioned in this great article is the effect of ever increasing light intensity of newer headlights.Not being content to blind oncoming drivers,the transportation manufacturers seem to be in some kind of contest to see which one can become the champion of offensive and dangerous illumination.
This could have been me.Because myself and many others have been nearly killed because of oncoming vehicles with the now popular and blinding LED headlights,I experiment with a solution.Mounting a tablet with a forward camera makes it possible to look away from the headlight glare and drive by the image on the tablet…

Headlight glare..It seems the auto manufacturers are having a contest to see who can produce the most offensive and dangerously bright headlights,effectively blinding so many oncoming drivers.
It must have gotten a lot of looks,what with those snappy looking whitewalls and all.
By the way the cars in the photo look,I’d be most afraid of driving one through a car wash.
What they should really be concerned about is the poorly aimed high intensity LED headlights that blind oncoming drivers ,even in daylight conditions in low beam mode.
I recall quite vividly reading in Readers Digest an explanation of the same vents.This was probably 50 years ago when they announced the official name as “Cruiserline Ventiports”.
I must be crazy but I have always thought that the Chevrolet Volt hybrid/grid charging has and will be the most practical solution to charging and range anxiety.
Is it true that “ Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”? I see no real problem here,the buyer knows what it really is and can’t possibly afford the real thing anyway.

Here in Michigan.there are always Chrysler test vehicles traveling around.I’m pretty sure I saw a Town and Country minivan coming the other way with huge fender flares and really cool rims.Then I saw that it was actually a Hellcat powered minivan with a manufacturer plate on it.
