I have an ex-girlfriend from Baltimore who would totally take up arms in the Ham Riots. Silent but violent, that girl. And she clings tenaciously to her ham.

I can’t begin to count the number of times I’ve heard this, from men and women, young and old: “I’m not into cars, but I love Top Gear.” If it didn’t serve as a gateway drug for cars, it at least helped the normals understand us enthusiasts a little bit.

That’s my take on this whole thing. It sucks because I love Top Gear and enjoy watching Clarkson in particular, but what he did is impossible to defend. I think everyone wishes things had gone differently that day.

As much as I'll miss Top Gear, I begrudgingly agree that he should be fired. I think the fact that he turned himself in is noble, and probably means that he agrees too.

I always look at cars like this, and others like original Shelby Cobras, and I think "omgggg fappp I WANT ONE SO BAD" but then I really think about it; I'd be far too terrified to drive it anywhere. With my luck, some fuckwit teenager would rear end me while texting.
