Not only confirmed but it's pretty much inevitable that your decisions will carry on to Season 2. In some way, whether it follows the same characters directly or indirectly.

The mobs are the "problems (with their relationship)", the mobs are always there but usually you would deal with them together and the "loot" would help develop your relationship.
