I'll bet that person who has all the variations of Resi4 will want to be getting their hands on this one!

He means he's importing UNLESS we get a date.

I think with the example of Final Fantasy 13, it was less the linearity and more the disappointing characters and the complete lack of exposition for anything (save for the millions of codexes that they expect you to read just to understand the simple concepts they were attempting to address). Saying that though, FF13

Wow, this guy is gonna be annoyed when they change the format of the cards and he has to get a different one.

Just TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY NOW, Nintendo!

That's not what the game is about. It's about the atmosphere and the experience, if you go around deliberately being "I don't care I'm dying lol" then you ruin the game for yourself. You have to really immerse yourself by putting on headphones and just really getting into the shoes of the character and empathizing

@earlyman: In terrible taste nonetheless, for shame.

@Looi: Same! The Japanese are also similar in this regard they love their gratuitous multiple staged processes resulting in a billion lines.

@ieatbabies: Well, the beauty of this is it works on it's own. No text = no problem.

@dowingba: I think it's more just covering for themselves from a legal standpoint. I doubt the numbers of broken anything are particularly substantial but I guess they thought they'd "nip it in the bud" by offering free jackets.

@dowingba: No dowingba, they're protecting OTHER things from the wiimote. Did you not see the million furniture/TV related smashing that happened when the Wii first came out? Not saying it doesn't still happen but it's probably less "fatal" if it ever does happen.

@Kuwabara Kazuo: Uh, I hope this is sarcasm because, no. It really fucking isn't. lol.

@Foxhack: He said it needed online, not that it didn't have local. It has local. Only.

@Lemstring: ... Double blogpost all the way...

That's fucking terrifying.

@beefs: Y'got a weak stomach, son. Man up!

"Consider the eyes of Kotaku raised."

@feitclub: Definitely agree. Just because past games were harder doesn't make them any better. Most games with "super hard instant death" were ridiculously frustrating and not rewarding in the slightest.
