But the reasons why you would have to open the hood on a conventional truck probably don’t exist for the truck Tesla is building.

I think they changed that a few hours after they got openly shamed for it.
Why aren’t these posts in Gizmodo ?
I have driven Leafs for 6 years and the current range of 80 to 90 miles has never been an issue. Like many American families, we have a second car that we use for out-of-town trips (it is an AWD SUV suitable for ski trips and long distance). I doubt that most Tesla owners really need their range, and frankly even with…
Range issues are pretty much a non-factor if you’re an average car owner once the EV can do 150-200 miles on a charge. Most people don’t go 200 miles in a day or probably in most weeks. Many people also already own two cars, if they need to take a longer trip, they can take the ICE car. Or renting a car for a road…
Yeah as long as you have the $5k in hand, a good credit score and a job lined up to where you’re moving to, or can afford to not work while looking, then yeah sure, everyone can move.
Nope, it’s awesome.
It’s natural to resist change but keep in mind this dash and car has been simplified. Everything is controlled through that revolutionary screen. Updates too.
Hell, most human drivers don’t duplicate it.
The trend in these stories is always the same, so I’m waiting for part two.
Part 1 - Tesla’s autopilot, in attempt to kill everyone on earth because robots and tech is bad, tried to drive my car into a sin filled volcano on the way to my volunteer job at the rescue puppy shelter!!
[investigation takes place]
Part 2 -…
If I had to die, being blown to death would pretty much be at the top of my list.
Ah, sorry I wasn’t aware of your penchant to go to strip clubs wearing only a thong. Nor was I aware of how much money you have. Shame on me, right?
Just glass North Korea and end the refugee crisis.
Fire the damn “union” supporters and get new people who are willing to work. Also increase the wages a bit and start listening to you employees. That’s what I would do.
Nah.... I’d rather have my fun at 28 than 43.
Having fun every weekend in your 20s is way better than doing it in your 40s.
Uh, he said he doesn’t need to be told the same thing every day for ‘eight years’ to me that looks like he thinks he’s going to be a two term President.
Agree! Those who’ve never worked on a large engineering project cannot fathom the complexity and near impossibility of it “going smoothly.” We’ve also lost our tolerance for failure. I think you probably spend at least 5x as much engineering something to death to try and prevent every failure as you do just building…
Right ? How is this news, again?
It’s a brand new class of warship. It’s going to have growing pains.
