Jeeeez, I suddenly feel old...

I was a physical book reader for years, keeping just about all I read. Yard sales always had good books, and our local library has a book sale twice a year. I always came home with 40 to 50 books from that. I'd always had aspirations to make a built-in book shelves, but never did. Then when my collection reached

What the H E Double Toothpicks is this? It this for a school project? He looks like he's in a mall somewhere. And, why is he smiling? How much of the plunger did he shove up his ass? So many questions... How about a link to the original source.

Well... I wouldn't say in the same class. But everything else being equal between the three of them, which is more likely to get hired, or at least, remembered in a more positive way?

One small thing I've always done was to wear a real bow tie, one that you have to actually tie, rather than clip on. While I didn't always get the job, during callbacks or second interviews, the bow tie was always talked about being remembered.

Maybe to help with cooling the brakes?

IDK... Japan's still pretty insane.

No, I haven't. This setup has been working good for me so I haven't really looked at anything else. I'll check it out, thanks.

I'm using OneNote's Android app, and it seems to work pretty good. I use mostly to write notes, measurements and sketches for household projects, then when I go to the hardware store, I can look them up on the phone and see everything, including sketches and pictures. Syncs through Windows Live. I also sync to my

First son got his as a HS graduation present. I'm grandfathered in at Verizon for unlimited data (the real version) so it was just another $30 to sign him up for a data phone. Second son will get his as a graduation present also. Both boys didn't get a phone at all till they were driving, before that we took them

I see that car a couple time a week, or one just like it. I work right across the street from their tech center.

I do pretty much the same thing as you, except that I use Outline+ for my iPad app and sync through Dropbox. I felt that Outline+ had a few more features that I needed to use than MS's own OneNote app.

Oh, my turn...

I can understand the low visibility thing when there's bad weather, but what if I just want to clean off the bug splat, do I have to turn on my headlights before I use the wipers and fluid?

I've seen these type of flights at the local RC club. Some of the maneuvers I swear look like all they're doing is just wiggling both sticks at the same time.

HA, that reminds me. I was a heuy mechanic in the army, we used to send the new guys all the way down to the other end of the flight line for a bucket of rotor wash. Of course they would know what was going on, so they send the newbie somewhere else, and so on, till the guy came back and reported that everyone was

Actually, NSK Steering Group, across the street from TTC.

I was merely trying to point out how the same character can have different meanings, in a long winded, roundabout sort of way. Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm a Cad designer with a Japanese based company, and we have several ex-pats that will spend three to five years here in Michigan. Every year when the company participates in the Bring Your Child to Work day, we design up some back pack tags with the kids name on them, one side in English, the other side in

When I first started as a CAD Designer, 26 years ago, you could get a decent job with that skill alone. There just weren't that many people around that could use the CAD software. Now, engineering students have to have CAD classes as part of the curriculum. Most ads I see looking for designers are wanting degree-ed
