@clinto: There is already a Ford Ranger that meets most of your requirements. Unfortunately, it's not sold in North America. Way to go, Ford!

@Exner built my hotrod: I was going to say, there must be a lot of southerners on this site to proclaim this thing a "crack pipe" so readily. You guys are spoiled. Up here I'd kill to find any 60's machinery in this shape for this price, and Alberta doesn't salt its roads with anywhere near the severity that eastern

@doctor 1 penny: Heh, that was my tactic in Forza, with damage turned off for my car and on for the computer cars.

@doctor 1 penny: My problem was that I was always afraid to brake. The computer always had a perfect line through every turn, so I would generally just out-muscle it wherever I could. That turn, though, if you tried to do that, you wound up in the dirt. And if not, then there's a very good chance the computer cars

That one always gave me trouble in Gran Turismo 3.

I won't say "most overpriced", but the Ford Ranger is definitely overpriced. It's built on an aging platform, its engine options are way underpowered compared to its competition, and the fuel economy is about the same as bigger, more powerful trucks in its segment. It's also lacking options that would make it more

@Ash78: Of course it is. We even have a professional team here.

@redman042: It's less the Canadian version of Arkansas and more the Canadian version of Dallas. The difference is subtle but it's there.

@AllenK: I mentioned this car on the last page, kudos on finding the website. When someone replied that it was online, I figured they meant "on the Hot Rod website somewhere". Cool car.

@pauljones: Personally, I'm bigger on malaise-era to late-80's full-size cars than the compacts, but I can appreciate that they've got their own charms. Our insanities are not entirely dissimilar.

@WpgJets: Shit dude, heart-clicky for the Jets. I was never big on them when they were around, being an Edmonton-born Habs fan, but they never should have been moved. Keep the faith, brotha.

@pauljones: They used that as justification for getting a chopper here, but the thing is only ever used to bust up bush parties. Any time there's a pursuit, the police chopper is nowhere to be found and they wind up calling off the pursuit because it's "too dangerous to the public". Why are we spending $300 000/year

@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: There was a nice Imperial concept a few years back when Daimler still owned the company, but nothing came of it because Mercedes was worried about Chrysler stealing sales from them. I don't think the Germans ever really understood where the Chrysler brand fit in the North American

@engineerd: There goes my hope of importing a Cortina, along with my daydreams of becoming Gene Hunt.

@DaveH.: How broke are you that you have to buy coffee on credit?

@despisethesun: Holy shit am I ever slow. I completely missed that wanking is exactly what you referred to.

@.357: I am drinking one with my pizza as I type this.

@MplsCarPunk: Also, it's cold there and you guys already got screwed out of one hockey team. You have a lot in common with Winnipegans and Quebecois, except they never got a new team to make up for it.
