I wonder if the kids will cary on that belief? It’s not strongly tied to religion as the map shows and doesn’t seem to be limited to a specific economic group. If the kids can’t participate in certain activities because they’re not vaccinated, and end up getting sick with things their friends don’t will make them

No because you can’t argue logic and reason with people who live on belief and faith, there’s a reason they call it “blind” faith. The worst part is that they think science is a belief system like religion and most are not interested enough (or smart enough) to want to understand differently.

My ‘46 Power Wagon resto-mod. They are undeniably cool trucks, and I love tooling around in it. But they were slow if capable trucks new, and I (like many who mod them) went for a Cummins 4BT/5speed because diesel. So now it’s still slow and capable, but it also is noisy and vibrates badly at idle. They’re small

Once you get to four or more people I agree with you completely. Before that point I agree with Mack. Get the performance and the space in a wagon.

I have two issues with this. The first is that people keep comparing it to a BMW/Audi and nothing in the reviews I’ve seen put this car in that class in much other than price and social cache (the last really being their money maker right now).

Different markets. The Wrangler will be smaller and lighter with solid axles. Better off road and with Wrangler like handling. A Dakota will be IFS, with a bigger payload, cushier ride and all the car like options, just with a bed, or at least it will need to to really compete.

Cellular tracking has been around for a while, that’s only part of what this could do. The benefits here are that they can manage their fleet licenses and registrations completely electronically, put advertising on when parked, as well as the tracking capabilities you’re talking about.

1st gear:

To play devil’s advocate, I saw a piece on the company and it does have a market, albeit a small one at that price. Commercial vehicles and wealthy people. A commercial vehicle fleet could benefit from these due to the telematics that allow better control and tracking as well as the advertising.

Most of the roadways around here already look like that.

Unfortunately this is only for the 40V tools. I already have the 80V tools from a previous sale, so not very helpful unless I want two sets of batteries and devices.

I still say insurance companies are the right answer for this. They have the VIN numbers and your current contact info (and in many cases are plugged into your ODB port), a recall could easily trigger them to contact their customers with those vehicles for notice. Should be a fairly simple automated action.

Braking is traditionally a hardware issue, which is something that usually can’t be fixed with an over-the-air update. It is possible to update the electronics that control the hardware, though, like if the ABS is kicking in too early.

There are lots of reasons people like to hate on him, some are personal, some are just the human love for watching things crash and burn. Doesn’t help that Elon is loves tout how awesome they are and yet is quick to attack anyone who says otherwise or brings up an issue.

None of the big crashes I remember reading about involved patently illegal speeds (100+ mph), or were due to Mustang like hooning. It was almost always about Auto Pilot more than speed.

I don’t think there’s regret. The auto maker CEO’s were seeing $$ with lower CAFE standards, then the reality that California has been on this tear for longer than the Federal Government, and will most likely be far more consistent in their position then these dual standards don’t really change anything and in reality

I’m going to say it’s powered by a gas turbine with just a single speed transmission. Wouldn’t be the first time a gas turbine was used in a tank. It explains the exhaust jet “afterburner”, and is a nice nod to basically every batmobile since the TV series with Adam West.

Plex is the new darling, but PVC supply piping is/was very common for many years and still readily available at any big box store. In the time these houses were built it wouldn’t surprise me if many are plumbed with PVC supply and sewage.

I think the problem with google is they all have ADD. They come out with some new idea, if it doesn’t instantly take over the world so they move on to some other idea and eventually the old one either gets updated to keep it barely usable or dies a slow painful death.

But that’s just further example of the mess that is Google messaging. I had used Voice with my Sprint number so I could send messages from a browser at work and my other devices through GV at home, but they only recently handled MMS (not well) and emoji’s. Tried hangouts but with some of the old browsers at work it
