I haven't played Persona 4 but in Persona 3 there were conflicts that dealt with relationships. They never impacted the levels. I would like to see Atlus explore rejection and trouble in relationships more beyond required "events".

There was support for Kat but I'm surprised that the developers heeded the community's suggestion. Someone mentioned Cloud as a Battle Royale character to me and I felt hesitant but I think I would have rather seen a Final Fantasy character in place of Emmett.
