“cab is pushed way forward to the point of this thing not being survivable in an accident”

As others, there were good reasons for Verstappen not to let him by easily. As said he is not actually racing with him so if you do want to unlap yourself, make sure it is convincingly and clean. This was far from it. Also for Verstappen there is much to loose by letting him by. First off, it cost time to let him by.

You are absolutely right, the 155 is anything but Meh....And if anything it shows the Tempa had no valid reason to look this Meh.

I love how the bus just keeps rolling after the crash, apparently not braking and how no one on the crossing seems to bat a eye and just proceeds with their day like noting happened.

I love the XJ but it’s a pity you guys in the States never got the Land Rover Discovery II with the 5 in line diesel. Unlike it’s V8 brother it was a lot more reliable and made it a great all around off-roader. Much more refined drive on the road with it’s ACE system and a beast off road.

I hear the queen of England laughing, she drives her unsafe Land Rover Defender all over the place. She used to drive it and other English cars all over Britain. Now she still drives but on her private grounds. Her grandsons drive themselves all the time, I’ve seen them.

It’s not the EU it’s the website itself.

Also as a Land Rover off road addict (I’m the David Tracy of Land Rovers) I am shocked to see the new defender will have independent suspension but have heard from friend who work there there will be some kind of linkage to simulate a beam axle. Let’s hope they are right or I’ll go for a Wrangler instead.

Car designer here, who isn’t unfamiliar with this particular company. ;)

Well at least I can read this article in the UK, with you link all I get is: “Sorry, this content is not available in your region” Why would this contend be location sensitive, WTF!

Why not use the hard shoulder?

I’m surprised to read so many of you don’t like the front of the new Silverado. I personally really appreciate they made an effort and made all the different versions so distinct. I have trouble telling Mercedes models apart let alone versions of a model.

This is exactly what happened in Holland last year during a hot spell. My money is on this option.

Instead of filming it the car behind would have done better to brake a little earlier. That’s the real idiot in this video.

Easily the best resto-modded car I have ever seen.

Always happy to read this kind of thing keeps others awake too. Glad it is solved, some good invesitgative journalism here.

Would have like to seen an XC90 or XC60 included in the test. i have a sneaking suspicion they would do well.

I love these topics, it proves there are people out there that are possibly more nerdy than me when it comes to car things and obscure details.

That’s not a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter that’s a Ford Transit as other pointed out. Well know for great handeling and once the van of choise of bank robbers. Still a high vehicle and thus a little more likely to tip over.

I’m a rational driven guy, that’s why I run both a Land Rover and an Alfa Romeo, .........Wait strike that.
