oh yeah, the George/Izzie romance was terrible, but their frienship was brilliant. And Izzie/Alex was at its best when it was on-again, off-again, simmering. I feel like we all have that friend with a lot of chemistry but it’d never actually work to try and make a relationship out of it, and they were very relatable

On the other hand, by putting this out there, anyone who is willing to name names knows that this guy will likely back them up, and it goes from there. I really hope this is the start of a conversation, not a single standalone statement.

It’s not just the actor, it’s the way the character’s written. Remember when Lexi was just getting established and she was like, ok here’s 5 things you didn’t know about me, and they were all quirky and endearing? Well I couldn’t tell you 5 things about Penny. She killed Derek, she’s a resident, she’s a lesbian, and,

No you’re right, she’s pretty stupid. She jumps to conclusions ALL the time and constantly misunderstands people. The one thing she had going for her was that she did have good chemistry with George, Burke, and Alex. The recently added characters are more likable as people, but they don’t seem to have that chemistry

Also how did she get from there, to treating a kid against his parents’ wishes, to being chief? She has made the least sense of anyone for a while there.

I felt that way more about Callie this season actually. Just so selfish, such a stereotype of oh, I need to run after this person I just met, and I’ll figure out how my child fits in second. Meredith has been hit or miss, and overall the arc of her realizing that this person who annoys her so much is actually very

Also loving Silicon Valley! And of course, GoT. Then my guilty pleasures are Grey’s (still), and The 100. Totally cheesy, but it has a surprisingly great cast and I’m a sucker for post-apocalyptic stuff.

Why are you gray???

I read that and knowing of both of them long before House of Cards (indeed, I’ve never actually watched House of Cards), what I hear is “But he’s a badass. He deserves all the monies.” which has more to do with the types of parts he’s played rather than depth of experience, and there weren’t a bunch of those plots

well, there are hotels in Echo Park, but they’re super shady while the houses around them are adorable. No contest there, I agree.

I’ve stayed in a couple of places where the host had a long-term partner with their own apartment, so whenever they received a booking they just stayed at the partner’s place for the weekend or week or whatever. That seemed like a pretty smart setup for when you’re not sure if you want to move in together yet.

What you can get for the money is completely different. I’ve stayed in a guest house with a hot tub and stocked bar for $75/night, a cottage right on a vineyard for $100/night, an apartment in just the right part of town for me to work at another location of my office for $60/night... Except for the last one which

God I hope so, but if so they haven’t addressed it.

that’s the magi who messed with Khal Drogo. Dany ‘saved’ her after she’d already been raped, her village burned, etc.

That would make sense, if anyone knew where she or the big dragon were. Without them, it’s a bit of an empty threat.

On one hand, he’s showing everyone over there who’s new to ruling that there needs to be a bit more nuance to change. On the other hand, the slavers still have absolutely no motivation to comply with anything he asks of them. If they don’t end the practice in 7 years.... what? Nothing, as far as the terms outlined. No

yeah, I wouldn’t imagine Jon and Sansa going in person to them, after the red wedding and all. I like the notion of Brienne and Pod and anyone else they can get to serve as emissaries, otherwise it’s going to take them forever to get back to Winterfell. Or better yet, send some ravens out!

That’s a good point. Would the Freys let them pass though, or even join in after hearing Walda’s fate?

I think it was interesting that she was making inroads with the younger Dosh Khaleen anyway. I think they’ll at least have the opportunity to get with the program, though the old one who’s internalized all the bullshit might be destined to die.

I am still hoping that the Umbers will betray him. Ramsey will be beset from the north (Sansa/Jon), the south (the Vale), and hopefully within (the Umbers) and go down so spectacularly.
