Probably late in this thread but I recently read “The Power” by Naomi Alderman. I would definitely recommend. This book has won the 2017 Bailey’s Prize for Women’s Fiction. Throughout the book only one thought kept echoing in my mind- at what point does our world goes beyond redemption?
