Wen I was looking for cars a few weeks back I had my only shitty experiences with two large dealership groups (we were trading in one car and getting two because we only had the one). The used guys were actually really helpful and honest (in fact we got a check engine light and he took the car to the Mercedes

I hope you’re right but unfortunately dealers don’t have a “couple million in inventory”. The stock units are still the property of the floorplan financier ie. the bank. If a dealer stops making floorplan payments the same thing happens if you stop making car payments... they get repo’d. This was going to be a bad

Seriously. Just because you think the F&I guy is a scumbag doesn’t mean you should relish the idea of the mechanic being on the street.

I get that there is going to be a lot of ppl here saying “who cares” and “that’s what they deserve” but there are a lot of people that work in the industry that are hardworking and decent people. News of any sector taking a downturn is not good.

Really? Up north here, basically no one runs a dealership as their primary income, they all have other, more consistent income streams. My first dealership’s boss made more in a month from their real estate ventures than the dealership would make in a year. And the second made more on their resource investments than

It’s called - and I am 100% not kidding - “Desert Smoke”.

I believe the Swedes call it Fasterünfucgrëy

I’ve been looking at the pictures for 5 minutes and I still can’t tell if it looks good or bad

I suspect Bradley is fairly smart, so like me, none.

Does no one here fault the morality of the buyer?!? Jesus H - its like Tom is completely absolving the buyer of any fault, here. Nobody held a gun to the buyer’s head and said “sign here”. This speaks more to the “I deserve a new car” mentality of people than it does to the sales tactics of a car dealer. Dealers are

Heh, if I had 200 grand to spend on something frivolous, I would give zero fucks too. The Taycan is an amazing, beautiful vehicle! It also drives really well, says literally everyone reporting on it.

No kidding. How many times have we all been lectured to that NOBODY needs more than about 35 miles of range a day in their car and so EVERYBODY should have been driving one of the plug in hybrids as much as a decade ago.

They have this magical thing called “airplanes” that can get you from coast to coast in less than a day, in relative comfort. If you don’t have the time, there are these things called “trucks” that a car can be put on and shipped from coast to coast at a cost that is basically rounding error when talking about $75K

“If this wasn’t on the opposite coast, I would probably be moving mountains to make this purchase a reality.”

If that’s your concern, modern, top of the line Mercedes Benz vehicles may not be for you, and they weren’t before they got to real wheel steering.

The EV train is chuggin along.

The silent killer.

Awesome, without oversized wheels with undersized tires mounted at obscene angles protruding from fenders rolled out with a baseball bat, it’s not really stanced, just lowered.

None of the kids I know want this. These are all old man fantasies.

“Skittering”.   LoL
