Which is why your experience sucks. You wanna waste one persons time and then have a second cater to you. You’re my favorite customer.😘

There are still some midwestern/east coast dealers that penetrate the sheet metal to affix those crappy dealer badges.... it’s INCREDIBLY tacky and annoying.

Interestingly, badges in general, are a no cost option for almost all high line makes and are generally only applied for the US market where people need everyone else to know what cool spec/model they’ve bought. I currently work for a JLR store, I’ve had more customers that I can count either refuse to buy a

Until your car takes a crap an you need someone to fix it OR, there’s a particular costly option that you’re not sure is worth it to you and you can’t walk into the local dealer and see it with your own eyes

By “people,” you mean the relatively small number of Jalops who actually buy new cars.  The average person still wants to touch, feel, test drive and show dealers how great they are at negotiations.  Source: I’ve been doing this for 14yrs now....

Meh, the loans are all simple interest rather than Rule of 78. The term as it were, doesn’t matter since the bulk of people don’t keep their cars to term anyway. As long as your buy it right, pay TT&L rather than rolling it in and don’t buy resale-proof cars, you’re fine.

Love reading the comments of people who hate dealers but don’t buy new cars anyway.  They’re certainly sticking it to the man!

EXACTLY! The “one price”

Curious, how many new cars have you bought in the last 10 years?

HA! There’s an old saying that “buyers are liars” and it couldn’t be more accurate. Guess what, dealers don’t wanna play the game either. Wanna totally level the playing field? Pay MSRP like you do for virtually everything else you buy in life less any savings offered to everyone by the manufacturer or company

100% THIS!

Nope.

Screwing people? I’ve bought man’s sold MANY cars, I can’t remember ever being forced to do anything by any dealer nor forcing any customer to do anything. Don’t like the deal, think you can do better, stand up and walk away. It’s that simple.

The Montgomery only applies to the original owner. All bets are off with regard to resale.

Ford doesn’t update your nav system for free either...

There are no tesla dealers...

Not if you read the EULA....

Monroney stickers don’t apply to used cars.

This, of course, is counter to how used cars have always been sold. If the feature is present and active on a car when sold, it can be expected that the feature is part of the car, unless otherwise and specifically stated.”

Nah, no fire
