There will always be a market for sub-$20k vehicles and SUV/CUV offerings tend to be sparse in that price range.  Simple solution for automakers, sub-$20k sedans with factory first time buyer support.  It’s a risk but building them and just HOPING people will buy them is as well.

They totally missed that marketing opportunity....
