I wouldn’t, if the pilot is injured or unconscious, comman eject is the only way to get he or she out of the bird before the taxpayers get it back🤷🏽‍♂️

I’m not saying how it works difinitively, just that my understanding is that seat select/command eject are options...

Most likely “command eject” wasn’t set.  Not all ejection sequences fire both seats, either crewman can select “own seat” or “command eject.”

The bird was going to Italy regardless, doing a trip from Italy to another destination and back.  Actually makes perfect sense to try to sell tickets rather than deadhead the bird...  staffing would have been the same regardless

Assuming that to qualify as “interesting,” it has to be a shooting brake or wagon and have a manual transmission which would be a fairly narrominded way to define either fun or interesting 🤷🏽‍♂️
