Louie's one of the best shows I've seen in a long time, but I don't think it'll have much influence on TV comedies because:

Maggie Serota should not be reviewing podcasts here. The Scovel/Walsh/Huntsberger episode of DLM was one of the funniest I've heard in a while, and the Pete Holmes episode of The Todd Glass Show was one of the all-time greats. Yeah, it's one thing to be critical of what you're reviewing, but this guy brings this completely unnecessary pissy attitude to everything he writes about. If you look up some of his other articles, you'll see that it's not just this show. Easily one of my least favorite writers on this site.

Yeah, that review was still weird. It's like the guy had never seen a clip show before. Being upset with them for doing one of them is justified, but seeing it as a slip in quality that might continue indefinitely makes no sense.

My favorite part is where he said Fox "didn’t particularly care" if the content was new or old, and then in the NEXT SENTENCE says that they were pushing for 4 clip shows a year.
