This is just terribly sad. The Star Trek reviews were what drew me to the AV Club. Buzz was so welcoming. He was so nice. He was smart and funny. I though he was one of the nicest commenters here. My condolences to his wife, family and friends.

Josh, you need to get Abbey Road. I'm okay with your Beatles hodgepodge. But you probably need Abbey Road.

That sounds like it should be a crime of some sort.

I really need to do this with my CDs. The only ones I ever buy anymore are classical. I can't bring myself to buy classical on digital. Getting high quality digital there is still pretty hard.

I'm so envious! I made a vow to do that two years ago, and I believe I've only made about 2% progress. I did trade in about 40 books last time. It was shocking to get nearly $100 for a bunch of paperback books!

I use Satellite because of the new music channels and the news channels. Can't really replicate either with any streaming service. Pandora doesn't do it. Apple definitely not. Spotify doesn't do this. I will stick with satellite until the bitter end. If they want to become a streaming exclusive service, I would go

I am a big fan of physical books. I own nearly 3000, and I live in a very small apartment. (Yes, I know I have a problem.) I still own a Kindle. I think I have a couple hundred more books on that. I do use it. Especially for public domain books and books that are really, really big.

My 2005 car didn't have a USB port. So, I tried an FM transmitted for my iPod for nearly the entire 10 years I owned the car. Must have tried 6-8 different FM Transmitters. In a major metro area? Forget it. They were all crap.

The logo looks kinda terrible. Bryan Fuller, how can you allow an ugly logo?

I'm a bit in denial. I don't want him to go. Nor Michelle. I love them. Please don't go! Please!! We can just change the Constitution, right? RIGHT???

Malia is 17 and Sasha is 14. Malia is about to graduate from high school.

I feel like I'm okay within my small circle of close friends. But, the wider the lens gets, the less I feel like I fit in. This is likely an artifact of being extremely politically liberal in a very conservative state.

Research shows that a large percentage of patients don't remember the instructions that doctors give them. And doctors report having to repeat instructions and information frequently. So, your doctor will not find it unusual if you didn't retain every detail that had been discussed.

The cutoff date makes it seem a little rigged. No Bartlett? No Pullman in "Independence Day"? Michael Douglas in "The American President"? See, if those characters had been included, then it would be a real competition.

Italo Calvino's "If on a Winter's Night a Traveller" also uses 2nd person narration.

I haven't read "American Wife", but I did read "Prep" which was pretty good. It isn't really my type of novel, but I think she did a good job with the character work in it.

I saw Sting in concert when I was in college and I really loved it. I think it was actually around the time that this song came out? Anyway, I really like solo Sting. He has a lot of very interesting songs.

Woooo! Congratulations!

I find classical sounds MUCH better on CD. The distortion on vinyl is pretty awful.

I will continue buying classical music on CD until digital comes up with anything that can match it. Classical music needs that higher quality. The difference in sound quality from CD to digital is vast. If digital could reproduce that sound quality, I would switch to buying it. And then the problem becomes storage,
