Yes!
Yes!
Probably because Stannis in the books isn't a bad father.
Yeah! I was thinking Anthony Cooper, Roger Linus, Charles Widmore or Christian Shephard would have made this list.
Definitely. The producers have even referenced Amadeus. It was great how they had Strange even reference that with his line about how magic is like music in his head.
Me, too! I like the way the footnotes are being woven into the tv series.
Yes! My favorite character in the book. And he's looking so great in the tv series.
Yeah. But, we only have an hour. I think the point was made. Especially since he sees the Gentleman eyeing Arabella, and that Arabella *can see the Faerie* and never says anything about it. I think that gets the point across.
Yes! Both were fantastic facial expressions. I particularly love how the Gentleman is boasting to Stephen about how Strange can't hear him just for Strange to say that he can hear him. Ha! This scene is wonderfully played.
I think this episode is even better than the first one. I love the scene where Strange and Norrell meet. I love how joyful Norrell looks to meet another real magician. Though…. well, I have more to say about this later, circa episode 5. Anyway, I love how Drawlight and Lascelles are so sneering and dismissive of…
You can if you live in Phoenix. Only idiots go outside from June to August.
They do it that way so the math can drive people nuts. It never calculates out to what they it is.
I would easily trade ESPN for MLB Network, NHL Network, NFL Network and my local Fox Sports affiliate. Even if it cost more.
MLB Network obliterates ESPN's baseball coverage. It is embarrassing. Baseball Tonight might as well not even exist now.
I can't even afford to get TCM right now! It is in such a high tier. Wow, if I could get that channel without paying $150 a month I would love it!
It used to be an okay site. Now it is utterly terrible.
If there was an MLB.tv service that let me watch my LOCAL team I would definitely ditch cable.
Ok, so I just finished watching all 5 currently available episodes. I am LOVING it! It is a much better adaptation than I was expecting. Eddie Marsan is wonderful! Bertie Carvel is going a great job handling the character development of Strange. Cilenti is perfect as Childermass. Love Kaye's Vinculus. The casting is…
I won't even watch the BBC America versions. I found I could not stand the cuts that PBS and BBCA make to shows. I either find sites that stream the originals or wait for it to hit Netflix in the uncut versions.
No way! Childermass is clearly the best character. I'm ridiculously pleased by the portrayal of him in the tv series.
I did pronounce it as "Norr-ELL" but that is probably due to A. The cadence of it sounds better in the title, and B. I liked the Francophone implication of "Gilbert Norrell". Though I do get that proper British English would pronounce it as "NORR-ell".
