At this point, I don't see what would prevent Doran Martell from having Dorne secede from the Iron Throne. As far as Dorne goes, the Lannisters just attempted to violate the only alliance between the Crown and Dorne. An alliance that was made solely to prevent Dorne from seceding from the Iron Throne. I understand

Alfie Allen is one of the best actors in the show. I really hope there is a point to keeping Theon alive through all of this. I would like to see Allen get some great material to work with.

That would suck. I'd love to see Areo Hotah use that killer-looking axe. But I also love Bronn. And wouldn't want to sacrifice him to a pointless but cool fight scene.

Stannis just left last episode. Littlefinger left several episodes ago?

LOL, that honestly sounds ludicrous to me. But, I guess the show could go there. Who the hell even knows at this point?

It would work if Roose Bolton was the survivor. I can't see it working if Stannis is.

But honestly, would the Vale follow an order from Littlefinger to attack Stannis Baratheon? Who, in the show, has Selyse, Shireen and MELISANDRE with him at this point. What is Littlefinger to The Vale? Won't Stannis have just liberated the North from the Boltons? Aren't The Vale primarily Baratheon/Stark loyalists?

So, this plot of Littlefinger's just makes no fucking sense at all. I've been struggling with this all season. Unless he actually thinks he can march in there and defeat Stannis Baratheon? Is that even a possibility? Because I can't see Stannis's point in the story being "eventually loses to Littlefinger".

Yeah. King's Landing without Joffrey, Tywin and Tyrion isn't very much fun.

I have some hope now that apparently Jaime Lannister is a prisoner in Doran Martell's court. That could be interesting. Seems like we had a lot of useless stuff before that though. Siddig is way too good an actor to be wasted like that.

But this was all invented by the show. They could have just invented something else that also made sense. probably something that could have made more sense, honestly.

Well, Tyrion said he and Jorah had been together for weeks. So, I'm guessing it was actually weeks in between when Littlefinger left Winterfell and when he arrived in King's Landing.

Don't even joke about that! They already had Barristan killed by the Golden Harpies, for crying out loud. Stannis is marching there with Shireen!! Think of the horrors D&D could inflict there!

You must not have been posting here when those scenes happened. You think people here weren't worried about the Cersei rape? I'm too lazy to find the links for you. Suffice it to say you're wrong.

My aunt took me and my cousin to see it in the theatre. She made us all leave about 25 minutes into it. So, I've never seen the whole thing.

I guess. But the question is, was this necessary?

Doran is the only interesting character left in the Dorne story. Ellaria was interesting before she just became an Arianne stand-in. And we already know Siddig is a good actor. Let's just stop with this Sand Snake nonsense and give the screen time to Doran.

Didn't she have a spear in the episode she was introduced in? I thought so?

Nailed it.

It makes no sense at all. The Queen of Thorns would never have allowed that bullshit to occur.
