I love how the show just let that joke go on and on. At first I almost rolled my eyes at how expected it was. But, wow, the execution of this joke was great. The longer it went, the funnier it got. At one point I just burst out laughing, "Sex toilet!"

This is extremely sexist.

Apparently, Netflix approached CBS last year about co-financing a new Trek series to air on Netflix. CBS said no. Though how much of that is rumor, I have no idea.

This is so sad. I almost started crying at work.

Thank you, Mr Blomkamp. You are right that your idea is really cool. And also right that it should have been a much better film. Apology accepted.

Oh, no. Leonard Nimoy died. Very sad.

Whoa! Now hold on. Jason Isaacs was in Awake. Of course I watched it.

Yes! I loved the scene when Jimmy demanded he take the space blanket off. I love how the writing and Odenkirk's performance are implying that Jimmy feels guilty about Chuck's illness. As if Chuck's disappointment with Jimmy is the actual cause of the illness.

This is really awful. David Carr was a superb media journalist. He had a very keen eye for how media, technology, culture and politics mixed.

You're apparently not the only one.

Ah, I still love that clip. Watching him obliterate that Vice asshole is just magical.

Maybe Rodrigo *really* doesn't like the way they are playing "Hungarian March from the Damnation of Faust"? LOL, you're right though.

Yes, but one of those smaller start up orchestras could never program Mahler 8 on a whim, to be performed in less than a couple weeks time. It would be impossible to hire soloists and prep the choirs.

Our orchestra does a 20 minute break for a 2 hour rehearsal.

When Rodrigo starts the orchestra I was jolted by not hearing anything resembling the opening of Mahler 8. Yeah, show? The conductor needs to tell the orchestra where he is starting.

I'm just watching this show now. As a musician, this show is both hilarious and frustrating to watch.

Yes! I mean, I'm encouraged that someone at least taught Gael Garcia Bernal a basic 4 pattern, so he didn't look as ridiculous as in the pilot. But wow, the actors do not remotely look like they are really playing.

Sorry, I'm late responding, but I'm just watching this show now.

Actually, I'm pretty sure on "The Closer" Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson was much more concerned with "truth" than she was with "facts". That was a character pretty famous for lying to suspects during interrogation, lying to her superiors about how she was conducting investigations, tricking suspects into

I'm not really feeling most of these as being more similar than "Stay With Me" and "I Won't Back Down". When it comes to pop songs sounding the same, they have to be near identical in vocal melody for me to buy it. Similar rhythms, chord structure or harmonic structure are not going to do it for me. I do sometimes
